This album is a collection of pieces that document my struggle living with Functional Neurological Disorder over the past 18 months. I have no memory of recording these pieces as they were recorded in the fog of the illness. I can't remember how I created the sounds or melodies, so I can't re-record to correct or better produce the pieces. Nor do I want to.

One guitar, one take, no overdubs.

I have never been more proud of anything I have recorded. This is my attempt to transform suffering into something beautiful.

This album is dedicated to Amy Visser and David Hector whose belief in me has inspired me to record music again, and to Caroline and Sophia, who have fought this battle beside me.
